ISPE RAYA Award goes to ESSERT Robotics and Vetter Pharma
The award recognizes excellence in robotics applications and was presented at this year’s International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Future Robotics Workshop.
The award-winning “Speed Bin Picker” project automates the process of separating loose, transparent syringes from a transport container and sorting them into designated trays for further processing. This innovative and adaptable automation optimizes an important and repetitive step in the production process, freeing up Vetter Pharma employees to focus on more demanding tasks. The award impressively demonstrates how innovative automation solutions can increase process efficiency in the CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) industry.
“This success underlines the leading position of ESSERT Robotics as an innovative provider of flexible robotic solutions for the pharmaceutical and medical technology industry. We are proud to have won the RAYA Award together with our customer Vetter Pharma and to drive the industry forward with pioneering automation technologies.” – Moritz Latzel, Sales Manager Pharma at ESSERT Robotics.
